The Australian Bureau of Statistics are about to commence Census night on Tuesday 10 August, with hopes to find important information about Australian households and population.

The data collected is a reflective ‘snapshot’ of Australia and tells us information on our economic, social and cultural construct.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to participate in the census as it provides important information that could impact communities. Given in previous Census surveys, data has miscalculate Indigenous data, it’s vital Indigenous populations partake.
