The Centre For Public Integrity has published a blueprint for the reform of political donations legislation in Australia.

Their recommendations follow the recent revelation of Zali Steggal’s failure to declare a $100,000 donation from a wealthy family with links to the coal industry.

Clive Palmer’s United Australia Party will be spending huge sums on electoral advertising, making their campaign the most expensive in Australian political history.

Reform is vital and long overdue.
