The Ramahyuck District Aboriginal Corporation has received $1 million dollars in funding to develop a solar farm in the Gippsland area, becoming the first Aboriginal-owned and operated solar farm in the state.
The profits from the solar farm will go back into the community with support, health, and mental health services for the First Nations people in the area.
