The Healing Foundation’s “Make Healing Happen: It’s time to act” report outlines a plan with recommendations to achieve real and lasting healing for Stolen Generations survivors and to deliver and promote inter-generational healing.
Coupled with survey data from the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, it provides evidence of the disadvantage and a ‘gap within a gap’ experienced by Stolen Generations survivors and their families. It demonstrates the need to act with urgency to provide services, support and redress.
