This year, the Ranger uranium mine in Jabiru closed its doors, and the land was returned to its traditional custodians.

While this is a big win for the Aboriginal community, a new research found out the population is 50 per cent more vulnerable to cancer and stillbirths than in any other Aboriginal community across Australia.
