June Riemer – NSW Aboriginal Woman of the Year

This year’s NSW Aboriginal Woman of the Year is June Riemer, Deputy CEO of the First People’s Disability Network.

The Award recognises her many years of work in the field of disability advocacy for Indigenous people.

She has addressed the UN and has recently been involved in presenting evidence to the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability.
