MP Bob Katter Potentially in Violation of the Constitution

The Hon Bob Katter MP could find himself in hot water after revealing that he had never formally pledged allegiance to the Queen on paper.

The member for Kennedy stated that he writes ‘no’ instead of signing the document that permits his stay in parliament.

Mr Katter is Australia’s longest currently serving federal member of parliament, with almost 30 years representing his electorate.
