Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations will soon have the complete care and case management of Indigenous children.

Life Without Barriers has partnered with the National Voices for Our Children (SNAICC) to begin the transferring process of out-of-home care of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children to community-controlled care in Aboriginal communities.

SNAICC’s community-controlled system will place Indigenous children in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to ensure their safety, well-being and cultural connection.
