Last week, a collective called Teachers for Refugees protested outside the office of education minister Jason Clare in Sydney, calling for full studying rights for 

refugees on protection visas. 

This comes after the Federal government promised to give more than 19,000 refugees on temporary protection visas a permanent residency, which hasn’t happened yet.
