Is Eastern Australia’s three years of cold and wet weather coming to an end? History shows that we could be in for a decade of El Nino weather as early as the end of 2023.

The Bureau of Meteorology’s declaration that La Niña has ended heralds the official end of the “big wet”, a rare triple dip La Niña that was the only the fourth since 1900 and the first in 22 years.
