Dating apps can be safer than hanging around in dodgy bars late at night.
But different dangers lurk in the online environment, and when you consider that information is particularly personal in a dating app, that information can be used in a particularly unpleasant way.
In fact, three quarters of people surveyed were found to be victims of some form of stalking, assault, or unauthorised dissemination of highly personal images.
