Teaching at any level is underappreciated for how difficult it is. At schooling level, class sizes are around 20, and at University, those numbers can be in the hundreds. With Covid-19 forcing every student’s learning online, educators have been reminded how difficult it is to engage every single learner.

In the end, all students must be educated. It would be wrong to disregard a student’s learning because their style does not suit the educator’s. In saying this, lecture-style education has long come under fire for being an largely disengaging form of teaching for both the students and deliverer.
