The Pandora Papers, a global leak of nearly 12 million documents, has offered a gateway for journalists into unlocking the global entanglement of political power and secretive offshore finance.
While so far the names of major political figures, billionaires, actors, musicians and sports stars have appeared in the Papers, international criminals will likely be a major contributor to the funds being fed through these tax havens.
Unlike the Panama Papers investigation, which was based on a leak from a single law firm, there are 14 offshore service providers included in this leak, making it the biggest to date and there is likely more corruption yet to be revealed.
