World Elder Abuse Awareness Day: shining a spotlight

Today is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, and to mark the day, Aged and Disability Advocacy Australia launched an event in Brisbane.

This year, the organisation is focusing on elder abuse perpetrated by people who have been appointed under an Enduring Power of Attorney – a grey area with very little information on how to act.
