New report calls for national reform to First Nations education system

Over 50 First Nations educators from across Australia gathered in Ross River last month for the 5^th annual First Nations education conference – Utyerre Apanpe, echoing support for educational change.

The event coincided with the launch of the 100-page policy document, the MK Turner report. Authored by a collective of Indigenous Educators, the report paves the case for First Nations-led and designed education reform in Australia, empowering both Indigenous language and culture.
