An immigration bill to send refugees from the UK to Rwanda has become a reality after receiving Royal Assent.
The bill is similar to Australia’s Stop the Boats campaign from 10 years ago under Tony Abbott’s government.
Australia continues to send refugees to detention centres or relocates them in nearby countries.
