Ahead of anti-poverty week, a new survey from the national child protection charity, Act for Kids, has highlighted the severe impact of Australia’s cost-of-living crisis on children.
The survey’s findings reveal nearly half of families are struggling to afford healthcare and basic educational needs, with many parents forgoing their own needs like medication, to put food on the table for their children.
