This Refugee Week, we reflect on the challenges refugees and asylum seekers face when fleeing their home country, and celebrating the achievements and contributions in a new country.

This year’s theme is ‘Finding Freedom’,  highlighting the role refugee communities play in our lives.

Australia has resettled more than 950,000 refugees since World War Two, and the value and skills refugees add to our communities are vital.
