If you are pulling a fake sickie, you could be costing Australian businesses and the economy

A study carried out by Iselect, a health insurance comparison service, has revealed that Australians who frequently take fake sick days are imposing a financial burden on the economy and businesses in Australia.

The survey involved 1000 participants aged 18 to 64, who shared their experiences of taking sick days for reasons other than physical health issues. But the young generation such as millennials and Gen z overtake the figure as one of the highest age groups who call in a fake sickie.
