Last night, Sydney’s Inner West Council narrowly approved the Fairer Future Plan, which promises to build 20,000 to 30,000 new homes over the next 15 years.

The plan also aims to increase social housing with the redevelopment of five council-owned carparks and incentives for churches and faith-based charities to redevelop their land.

Marlena Holdernesse asked Izabella Antoniou, Greens Councillor for Ashfield, why she voted against the plan.
