The ongoing hostile takeover of AGL highlights the need for stability in Australia’s energy market, as the combination of public and private investors gives way to inconsistent management.

With an increasing frequency of coal plant closures happening around the country, a clear path towards net-zero through renewable technologies becomes increasingly important, but is still yet to materialize.
