The Alcohol Beverages Advertising Code Scheme (or ABAC) is the centrepiece of alcohol marketing in Australia.
This year, ABAC released its 2020 report, saying the social media landscape needs to be regulated and restricted like TV, so alcohol marketing does not reach the youth.
During the pandemic crisis in 2020, a lot of complaints were done to ABAC about alcohol marketing producers reaching social media and live streaming.
