Ant Wars: Real-world ant battles shows how native insects win against aggressive introduced species

Social insects such as ants are one of the few species to engage in warfare on the same scale as humans. New research from CSIRO using insight from virtual gaming and real-world ant battles shows the dynamics of conflicts between native and non-native invasive ants, suggesting a new approach for managing invasive species.
