The Federal Budget was handed down last night by the Treasurer, Dr Jim Chalmers, and included measures to ease cost of living pressures, provide for those who are disadvantaged or excluded, and, of course, provide a budget surplus of $4 billion dollars.
Speaking with Roderick Chambers in Parliament House Canberra, Dr Andrew Leigh, Assistant Minister for Treasury, Competition, and Charities, also highlighted the significant measures for women in this budget, which he claimed were previously sidelined by the Morrison Government.
