Australia has tabled legislation for it’s own Centre for Disease Control for the first time after decades of discussion.

The agency will be fully established and will open it’s doors at the start of 2026.

The Wire’s Zachary Probert spoke with the Manager of Policy and Advocacy at the Public Health Association of Australia, Malcom Baalman to discuss further.
