This week, Human Rights Watch released its World Report 2023, assessing the human rights practices of over 100 countries worldwide.
However, Australia didn’t perform well, with First Nations deaths in custody being one of the most notorious highlighted issues.
It also assessed processes to treat refugees and climate action protestors, and the organisation is asking the Federal government to change its human rights performance.
