With summer fast approaching, a new report finds 44 per cent of Australian parents lack confidence in their children’s emergency water safety skills

Last year alone, saw a 12 per cent rise in drowning deaths at Australian beaches with rip currents being the lead contributor.

The report also found nearly half of parents rate their children’s ability to float as quite poor, a critical skill for survival in water emergencies.
