Australian scientists are building advanced technology which could prevent marsupials from extinction as well as bringing extinct species back to life.

The extinct Tasmanian Tiger is a specie which could be brought back because of preserved DNA.

The technology also aims to prevent endangered marsupials from becoming extinct by doing DNA sequencing.
