Research reveals that bans on commercial surrogacy in Thailand hasn’t stopped the practice, but instead left surrogates unsupported and exploited.
Commercial surrogacy is prohibited in various countries including Thailand.
As a result of the ban, surrogates often cross borders to participate in surrogacy programs, sometimes with only agency support.
