Barnaby Joyce will be sworn into tomorrow as Leader of the Nationals after party room ballot uproar saw Michael McCormack ousted from the job. The spill motion was moved this morning by Joyce’s close ally, Matt Canavan after days of hearsay over the future of the party’s leadership. Barnaby Joyce has said he has learned from his mistakes and is “a better person” three years on from an alleged sexual harassment claim and relationship with his staffer that saw him resign as leader of the party.
