Book exposes illegality of Murray Darling Basin Plan

After working on the 2018 Murray Darling Basin Royal Commission,  lawyer and Senior Counsel Richard Beasley was angry that the findings of the Commission were ignored. It’s driven him to write an angry book, Dead in the Water,  pointing out why and how the plan is illegal, and how Australia ignores that fact at its peril. At stake he says is the environment and the future of our international conservation agreements.
