Despite nearly half of the world’s population experiencing menstruation at some point in their lives, period issues continue to face challenges with lack of education and materials for young people across the nation.

‘Period Summit’ in Adelaide invited conversation surrounding the taboos and sensitivities around menstruation and the lack of awareness and understanding on issues. The summit called for action surrounding period poverty and gender equality effecting young Australians.
