The push for more electric vehicles works well for cities, but with the distances travelled in regional Australia, getting around with enough charge can be a real problem.
Caravan parks are looking to plug the gap in electricity availability, with handy overnight charging and multiple fast charging bays. They have the space, and are located conveniently all around Australia on major trunk routes.
All though current battery technology only allows about 70km towing, this will only improve, and van parks also have cabins and motel style accommodation, ideal to stay overnight whilst charging up your Tesla, ready to take on the next leg of your journey.
Of course various levels of Government need to come to the party to ensure electricity supply to parks can be upgraded.
