Today the Australian Institute released its most recent report after tracking the response of the Australian public towards the issue of climate change for over a decade.
The ‘Climate of a Nation’ report explores everything from climate concern, government impact, and energy opinions to give Australia’s an in-depth understanding of the public opinion on this concerning issue.
But do reports like this actually impact public opinion or government legislation?
Professor of Business and Environmental Law Jennifer Mckay (mackey) from the University of South Australia believes that the report could pave the way for genuine climate action in Australia.
She spoke to the Wire’s Ayla Liebenberg about the report.
