Peter Dutton had his first opportunity as Leader of the Opposition yesterday to deliver the Coalition reply to Jim Chalmer’s 2022-23, calling it a missed opportunity. The Labor Treasurer’s budget delivered on some of Mr Albanese’s promises, though it also warned that inflation and the cost of living would rise in the coming months.
The reply came on the same day that Industrial Relations Minister Tony Burke announced a new industrial relations bill that promises to provide more secure jobs and better pay.
