A new research conducted by LaTrobe University with the support of the Australia’s Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation, found out that COVID-19 damages human lung tissue, having serious consequences to our health.

With the technology from ANSTO, researchers could examine how the proteins from the human lungs and COVID interact, causing severe health issues.

The study also will bring more research on how to stop the spread of the virus and creating appropriate treatments for patients in intensive care.
