As the vaccine rollout in Australia speeds up, there are growing concerns about the use of online technologies as being almost essential to accessing vaccination appointments.
Elderly, remote and rural communities, and First Nations communities are at a disadvantage as they often have limited or no access to the Internet or mobile technologies.
This digital divide makes it harder for these communities to gain access to vaccination appointments and information surrounding the rollout with the normalization of technology as a central aspect leaves these communities out.
