Crown Casinos Face Victorian Royal Commission

Victoria has announced a royal commission investigating Crown Casino’s business in the state, with Daniel Andrews stating he is prepared to end their license should the findings merit it.

The move comes in the wake of controversies surrounding Crown’s licence to operate at Barangaroo in Sydney.

Local Greens MP Jamie Parker is questioning the legitimacy of the original planning approval and campaigning for Crown to be permanently denied a licence.
