This week marked the end of one of the longest defamation cases launched by war veteran Ben Roberts-Smith against three media outlets.

Justice Anthony Besanko dismissed the case, saying The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald and the Canberra Times and their journalists have a contextual truth on their reporting.

Mr Roberts-Smith didn’t attend the hearing, and hasn’t released any statement yet.

Mr Roberts-Smith has resigned from his role from Seven West Media.
