Many people have been promoting the idea of a Dopamine detox where we avoid sugar foods, games, online exciting activities to help reduce reliance on a constant need for excitement. But you can’t simply stop the brain using dopamine. Dopamine is not only something that gives us a pleasant feeling as a reward, it is a vital brain chemical that helps us stay focused and maintain motivation.
