A lack of infrastructure and testing has led to unsafe drinking water in over 500 Indigenous communities.
The lack of safe drinking water now casts doubt on the government’s ability to supply drinking water to these through the future, as climate change is expected to ravage our most remote communities.
Serious measures must be put in place to guarantee that these communities will have access to safe potable drinking water throughout the coming decades.
