When it comes to electric vehicle sales, Australia is falling behind internationally. A new proposal by The Grattan Institute not only looks to increase this number but to also phase out the sale of all new non-EV’s by 2035.
This new initiative could achieve forty per cent of the nations emissions reduction task by 2030. However, whether or not this goal is too ambitious is explored with author of the proposal Lachlan Fox.
