The Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea has called upon Japan, Australia and New Zealand to open up an economic bubble with Pacific Island countries as part of their fight against COVID-19.
James Marape made this proposal during the 9th Pacific Alliance Leaders Meeting, just days after the Controller of the COVID-19 National Coordination Centre introduced a measure that restricts any unvaccinated persons from travelling domestically in PNG.
