Today, Co-founder and CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg announced that the company Facebook will rebrand the company and will be known as Meta.
All the social media platforms will keep its name. The aim of this change is to place the brand into the metaverse, which is technology that uses virtual and augmented realities to offer products and services.
Experts are concerned about the use of these technologies without a policy behind them, and say the potential new computing platform might be more invasive.
