First Nations activism through photography

First Nations activism has been trending over the last few years with Invasion Day and in 2020 with the Black Lives Matter movement.

Noongar man and photographer Cole Baxter started his career in 2015, and focused on giving powerful images of First Nations people protesting across different events in Perth.

He says indeed an image says much more than a thousand words, especially when it’s about such a powerful expression like protests.
