First Nations women face many challenges in access to health, education and community services.
A new research found out First Nations women are more likely to face barriers accessing adequate care in remote communities, after experiencing a head or brain injury.
These barriers include a lack of dedicated resources and specialist staff to provide immediate and long term care for head injuries in remote communities.
