Foot and Mouth disease is a growing concern for Australian cattle farmers, with farmers in the Kimberley being especially concerned due to their proximity to Indonesia, where the disease is currently spreading.
The disease is highly contagious, especially among cows and cloven hoofed animals and an outbreak would have devastating effects on the livestock industry.
We investigate the full impact of the disease and what the government is doing to support farmers.
