Imagine yourself aged ten and to be offered by your family as a bride in exchange for just a few dollars.
It’s a grim reality for child bribes in 2025 in many countries across the world.
Nepalese woman Beni Rani Ghale was offered as a child bribe, but she was not happy about it and broke away to campaign against the tradition of child brides and to support other women who weren’t so lucky.
