Huge loss of lives – Dave Sharma Former Israel Ambassador

To put the attack on Israel in context, former Ambassador Dave Sharma points out that the Hamas attack killed the most Jewish people in a day since the Holocaust.

With a looming ground offensive expected there is uncertainty in the whole of the Middle East.

There are conflicting reports of the origin of an explosion in the  al-Ahli Arab hospital in Gaza that reportedly killed many people.  Hamas said it was an Israeli Air strike, but photo evidence contradicts this claim.

US President Joe Biden has cancelled his summit meeting with Arab leaders in Jordan, but is due in Israel today.  The US is concerned that other actors in the Middle East like Hezbollah, Syria or Iran may choose also to attack Israel whilst she is vulnerable.
