The food delivery industry has been in the spotlight these past few months, with reports of worker deaths, slashed wages and unfair dismissal making headlines. Workers are paid an average $12 per hour, leaving most struggling to afford household essentials.
This week, workers have travelled to Canberra to voice their concerns to politicians directly, forcing attention towards the rights of essential workers under delivery companies.
